Cool Cat Moo is the main character who is moving to a new school and a new neighborhood because her dad got a new job. She’s afraid to go to the new school because she might not make any friends. She had lots of friends at her old school and every one called her “Cool Cat Moo”. But her mom helps her understand that she needs to go to school to learn, and has arranged for their neighbor, Dirt Dog, to walk Cool Cat to school for the first day.

Polly Dolly Doodle is a classmate at Cool Cat Moo’s new school. She’s a bit annoying because she interrupts and is a bit talkative.

Billy Boxer is a classmate that some of the kids are making fun of because he doesn’t look like everyone else and he doesn’t have the needed supplies for an activity.
